About the Club

The agriculture club is a forum aiming at developing indigenous agricultural practices to meet the food needs of present and future generations without compromising environmental standards. The club further involves creating awareness in society about the need for organic farming and support in developing new tools and techniques that substantiate organic agricultural practices.

  • Aim of theClub

    The Aim of an Agriculture and gardening clubs can teach students about growing plants, how to prepare soil, plant seeds, and care for seedlings. They can also learn to make natural pesticides and landscape mini gardens.

  • Objective of the Club

    • To screen and collect indigenous herbs from various parts of Tamil Nadu
    • To produce and distribute the required quantity of organic food products in the society
    • To reduce the cost of organic products and make them affordable for all
    • To entertain and guide the students to carry out projects in organic agriculture

  • Vision

    To transform the current inorganic agricultural practices into organic ones by inculcating eco-friendly technologies and natural biological agents.

  • Mission

    • To establish an herbal garden on the college campus with indigenous plants of medicinalimportance.
    • To create awareness among the public about the need for organic farming for a sustainablefuture.
    • To involve the students in the development of new technologies and tools for enhancingthe production in organic farming
