About Us
Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2001 and is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Group was started in 1993 by Thiru.S.Regupathy, B.Sc., B.L., Founder, Minister of Law, Government of Tamilnadu to render quality education and groom efficient future citizens hence contributing to the nation-building process.
The college caters to various disciplines of education like Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences. All departments have state-of-the-art infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories which are periodically upgraded as per the curriculum and recent trends. The campus hosts dedicated and well-qualified faculty members, lecture halls, computer centers, libraries, laboratories, auditoriums, and above all quality education. Myself Kathiravan Murugesan belong to a farmer’s family from Soorangadu Village of Thanjavur District. At present I am working as a Lab Researcher in Cell Culture under Research and Development Department. During my period of study in KVCET, I have learned techniques like chromatography, blood grouping, molecular technique like DNA, RNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, primer designing, cell culture, sub culture, cell count, ELISA and gene expression. I have got placement in life cell as a Lab researcher because of my education in KVCET. The Placement Department helps me a lot for my placement. I am really proud to be alumni of KVCET.

Before appearing for interviews, well training is given to all the aspirants. This training is helpful while appearing for companies’ interviews as it is the first step towards a job offer. Moreover, it also helps for further interviews. Hence, it becomes vital to make use of the training because it helps one to gain confidence before the main interview. It also carried out a three step process including an MCQ test followed by Technical and a personal interview. The training helped me to clear the phases of placement procedure and earn this job offer. Keep practicing and enhance your skills as there are no short cuts to hard work.
