Introduction

            Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust is the promoting body for the proposed Institution, “Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology”. The main objective of the Trust is to provide quality higher education to the people of downtrodden in rural areas. That is the reason why, the Trust has started educational institution in the rural districts of Pudukottai and Chengalpattu in Tamilnadu state. The proposed new institution will be established in the existing campus at Chinna Kolambakkam, Madhuranthagam (Tk.), Chengalpattu (Dt.)., Tamil Nadu state.

Objectives of the Institution

• To become globally recognized Hotel Management and Catering Technology institute.
• To become a Centre of Excellence in contemporary Hotel Management education with focus in nurturing ethics, moral values and practice of Indian hospitality system
• To provide industry ready and socially sensitive holistic managers for themselves and to the country in Hospitality Industry.

The Institute will have state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities such as Class rooms, laboratories, Library, computer facilities, Internet, Seminar Halls, etc to carry out teaching – learning activities in a professional manner. Well qualified faculty members with adequate industry experience will handle the academic activities.

Industry Tie-up

The institution  is committed to provide industry ready professionals by having industry tie-ups for training and internships. Memorandum of Understanding will be signed with well known Hotel, Regenta Central R S located at Rajiv Gandhi IT Highway, OMR, Chennai in this regard.
