Industry Institute partnership cell (IIPC)

IIPC’s objective

IIPC (Industry Institute partnership cell) of KVCET was constituted by the Institution to develop a meaningful and continuous Industry-Institution partnership for achieving tangible graduate attributes in our students. Faculty members from different disciplines, senior executives from various sectors of industry, and student coordinators energise IIPC.

IIPC’s mission statement

1. To help college, students, faculty and industry to see the same picture with regard to the graduate’s employability.
2. To train the students with qualities and skills from the perspective of industry.
3.To develop strategies that could effectively bridge the gaps in employability.

IIPC efforts

Every Saturday IIPC invited a senior executive from sectors like IT, pharma, manufacturing, communication, biotechnology, banking, biomedical engineering, construction, automobile and electrical industry for interacting informally with students and faculty. These interactions helped lateral thinking at both sides.

A few inputs from IIPC’s advisory committee members are byte-sized below:
