Eligibility For Admission

Students should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of (10 +2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study under Part-III or any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University of Technology Chennai as equivalent thereto.

Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the eight semester B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Programme:

Should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational Stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Candidate should score 45% of marks (Reserved Category 40% of marks)

Lateral entry admission

(i) The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech. in the branch corresponding to the branch of study.

(OR)

(ii) The candidates who possess the Degree in Science (B.Sc.,) (10+2+3 stream) with Mathematics as a subject at the B.Sc. level are eligible to apply for admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech. Such candidates shall undergo two additional Engineering subject(s) in the third and fourth semesters or fourth and six semesters respectively as prescribed by the respective Faculty.

ME/MTech Degree Programme

Based on the entrance (TANCET / CET / GATE) marks conducted by the Anna University & Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree

Based on the entrance (MAT / TANCET / CET) marks conducted by the Anna University & Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu

Admission Procedure

The admission process is carried out in two categories:

Single Window System
Management Quota

Admission through Single Window System

65% seats for UG programmes are allotted through counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.
The entire admission promotion programmes adhere to and strictly fall within the rules framed by both the Anna University and Government of Tamil Nadu assuring transparency in the process of admission.
The seats under Government quota are transparently filled through the single window system of admission based on Higher Secondary examination marks (merit basis).
Admission to various PG programmes is done through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University.

Admission through Management Quota

35% seats are allotted through the Consortium of Self Financing Engineering Colleges under management quota
After the 12^thstandard results are published the admission process is announced through advertisements in newspapers and in the college website. The interested students will take up the Consortium Eligibility Test (CET).
Based on the rank list published by the Consortium, the meritorious candidates are admitted in the courses desired by them.

Is the campus well connected by road and rail?

Yes. We are less than 15 minutes from Chengalpattu . Buses and autos can be boarded round -the clock at the campus main gate.

Where is the exact location of your campus?

Our green campus houses the Engineering college, Dental, Nursing and Medical colleges, Multispecialty Hospital, Auditorium, Cafeteria, Student Hostels, Staff Quarters and a Global school. It is located on the arterial GST road, almost at the midpoint between Mahindra city and Maduranthagam.

What are the college working hours?

Regular working hours are from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm. This may vary on special days like during examinations.

What are the different Under Graduate Engineering and Technology programmes available?

B.E Automobile Engineering, BE. Biomedical Engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology, B.E Civil Engineering, BE. Computer Science and Engineering, BE. Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE. Yes. Hostels with amenities are available for boys and girls.

When does the academic program begin for this year?

We start July or August. Admissions however begin 3 to 4 months ahead.
