The Ministry of Education, Govt., of India has constituted Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), launched on 21st November 2018 to systematically foster the culture of Innovation in educational institutions. It is a proud to Mention  that our college has been selected as one of the CENTRES leading to an innovation eco-system in the campuses. This initiative will enable the college to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting their new ideas and transforming into prototypes which may lead them to become Entrepreneurs.

In this scheme Government of India is providing opportunity to the innovators in developing and nurturing their new innovative ideas for the production of new innovative products which can be sent in to the market for commercialization. This Ministry has been implementing this scheme since 2008 under the approved guidelines which permits the Govt. GoI financial assistance of 75 % to 85 % of the project cost up to the maximum of 8.00 Lakh. This fund is routed through the Business Incubator (BIs).

Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology (KVCET) was approved by MSME as the Technology Business incubation Center/ Host Institutions (HI) in the year of 2019.

Host Institutions (HI) are exploring the new innovative ideas from the Incubate of various sectors that may be existing and prospective entrepreneurs. Even the students from the various streams are also participating in nurturing their new ideas through the Host Institutions as a part of their career building.
