Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology organized its 4th edition Maathare – T23, Women in Excellence the grand award ceremony to celebrate womenhood on February 24th, 2023. The main motto of this event is to identify and bring the women achievers into limelight, those who have set an example in their respective fields and encourages young talents with lots of potential and promise for the future.
We have honored 12 deserving and super talented women who are such an inspiration to the community on the whole. Honoring these wonderful ladies, created a positive aura spreading across the youngsters.
Dr. Annamalai Reghupathi, Managing Director, Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Group presided over the inaugural function of the award ceremony. Dr. Meenakshi Annamalai, Director, Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Group welcomed the gathering. Ms.Madhu Saran Vel, founder, River NGO was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. She appreciated and encouraged all the awardees with her inspirational speech.
This year, the woman photographer was conferred on wildlife photographer Rathika Ramasamy and women achievers awards includes Ms. Chitra devi, a woman Social service, Martial Arts Ms. Sugitha Ms. Sunitha Gogoi, Small screen entertainer, Ms.Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Small screen artist, Ms. Shriya Lohia , youngest Kart Racer , Food vlogger, Ms.Sharmila Sans Pareil , Alumini of KVCET , Ms.Parvathi Anand, You Tuber Ms.karthika Agathiyan, Book reviewer RJAnanthi, Business woman Ms.Minu Agarwal, Mesmerising Singer Ms.Maalavika Sundar. Ms. Lijomole Jose, Elite Actress of south Indian cinema were awarded in the grand ceremony
Anchor and popular VJ fame Keerthi Shanthanu made the occasion a delightful one with their insightful and humorous talks.
Among the awardees we had special invitees as presenters, Ms.Mallika Badrinath, Indian Food Writer who won a million hearts her recipes through television & Dr.Priya Kalyani, Obstetrician & Gynecologist.
