• Our department has organized a National Conference on “ Advanced Functional Materials for Engineers” on 22.03.2024 with the distinguished resource persons Dr.M. Arivanandhan, Professor, Nanoscience and Technology,A.C. Technology, Anna University, Chennai – 25, India.
  and Dr. V. Arumugaprabu, Professor, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Srivilliputhur, India. @ Conference Hall-1 at KVEG campus.
• Our department has organized a Virtual Conference on “International Conference on Advanced In Applications –(INCAST-2023)” on 6&7 feb 2023 with the distinguished resource person Retna Apsari, Professor of Physics, Airlangga University, Indonesia.

Seminars are an important part of academic programmes and it provides an opportunity for the students to discuss and analyse a range of new concepts and ideas together with the Experts

• National Seminar titled “Consequences of Urban Pollution and its Mitigation Measures” was conducted by the Department of Science and Humanities,  Sponsored  by Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology on March 27 and 28, 2025, at the KIMS Lecture Hall.  The event featured Dr. S. Anandhakumar, Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Anna University, Chennai, and  Dr. J. Balakrishnan, R&D Officer at Constitution, Vero Technology LLP, Ranipet, Dr.Karmegam, Assistant Professor Department of Botany, Govt Arts and Science College , Salem and Dr. N.Kanagadhara, Professor (Physics), Saveetha School of Engineering. • The Department of Science and Humanities organized a guest lecture on Environmental Sustainability delivered by Mr.B.Murugavel, Energy Consultant, CPCL, Chennai, on 20 November 2025 at the Edusat Hall. Muthu, Manager, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Chengalpattu, on 1 November 2025 at the Edusat Hall.
