About KVCET-IQAC:

As per the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines every accredited institution should establish its own Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). This is essential to maintain the post-accreditation quality of the Institution. Quality enhancement being a continuous process, the IQAC becomes a part of the institution’s system and works towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance.

In June 2017 as a part of quality sustenance effort the Internal Quality Assurance Cell was established in KVCET.   Maintaining the momentum of quality consciousness is crucial, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, in fact, is conceived as a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture at the institutional level.  The Institution has an internal quality assurance system, with appropriate structure and processes, and with enough flexibility to meet the diverse needs of the stakeholders. The KVCET- IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the college. The IQAC channelize and systematize the efforts and measures of the institution towards academic excellence. It is a driving force for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality. 

Objective of the KVCET – IQAC

The primary objective of IQAC is
● To develop a reliable system and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
● To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture.

Strategies:
IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for
● Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks.
● The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes
● Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning
● Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services
● Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
Functions:
● Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
● Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
● Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on  quality-related institutional processes
● Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes
● Documentation of the various programmes /activities leading to quality improvement
● Development of Quality Culture in the institution
● Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters to submit to NAAC.
