The Department of EEE, established in 2005 with the approval of AICTE, is set in lush greenery, student friendly atmosphere with the approval of AICTE. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has firm commitment to develop and produce Electrical Engineers of high technical knowledge combined with leadership skills and decision-making, design capabilities and problem solving skills.
The department has well– equipped laboratories to cover all the experiments prescribed in Anna University/A.I.C.T.E. Curriculum and to support all research activities. The EEE department is playing its role in producing knowledgeable Electrical Engineers.
The Department posses a team of eminent, committed and experienced faculty including Professors at doctorate level and Assistant Professors. All the students are encouraged and guided by faculty to carry out more than curriculum based experiments, certain innovative research oriented projects.
Students are provided with opportunities for interaction with individual experts through guest dentures, Industrial Visits, Workshops, Conference etc. spacious green campus, Good department library and peaceful atmosphere ensure a wonderful learning experience.

Biomedical Engineering was started in the year 2012 with an intake of 60 students. This Program is affiliated to Anna University and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. KarpagaVinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is the opportunity for the student to get hands on training at KarpagaVinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) which is an integral part of KarpagaVinayaga Educational Group (KVEG).
Biomedical Engineering disciplinethat assures placements in hospital, medical equipment manufacturing and servicing companies, medical coding concerns, signal and image processing sectors in IT concern.
